Happy Halloween!

 

I love any excuse to dress up and party ~

so the idea of Halloween parties, fancy costumes and trick or treating
has major appeal for me!
Sadly, we don't celebrate it here in Australia
so I will enjoy it through the eyes of my favourite American blogs!

Glamour Interior

This lovely home was featured in House Beautiful, stylishly designed by Paige Schnell and Doug Davis of Tracery Interiors. The result is chic, elegant, glamorous and timeless. It is always easy to live with a neutral canvas but this house has been brightened with lively pops of colour in shades of pink and raspberry to keep things fresh.  There's lots of clever idea and gorgeous detailing like the ceiling, the toile panelled screen in the bathroom, the mixed dining chairs and the two seater bar stools.

Poppy and Fuchsia Outdoor Party

With a big party to go tonight,

I am in the mood for a bit of luxe.

I have the hairdresser and beautician lined up

for a chic updo and manicured nails.

The party dress and shoes are laid out and ready to go.

All I need is an hour before I go

for make-up and a glass of champagne to start the party!

Black & White Glamour

I first developed a passion for photography when I was sixteen years of age and my dad bought me an SLR camera. I started taking photography classes at school and I was developing my own black and white prints. It has been an on going hobby over the years and I love collecting beautiful books on fashion photography.
