Champagne Girl

Supermodel Eva Herzigova is the latest model for the Champagne house 'Dom Perignon'. I have only been lucky to have tried their vintage Rose once, whilst I was living in London. These gorgeous and indulgent photos were taken by the famous and very clever Karl Lagerfeld who never fails to impress me. I love the colors in the campaign and in the soft pink and beige tones. Just beautiful!

My best friend is having a party this weekend - she's works in fashion - she's bubbly and social and has lot's of friends so I am sure it will be a very chic affair. The big question is what to wear with such a fashionable crowd? I have just got back from an expensive holiday so it's not a case of going out and buying something new and fabulous - it's a case of recycling something I already have. I am thinking giving an old dress some extra zhush with sparkly eyes, some new glitter nail polish, killer heels and a splash of my favourite Chanel No. 5 perfume. I think that will do the trick and save me a bomb!

Beauty Routine

Amongst my New Year's resolutions is to put a lot more effort into my beauty routine. I think I need to stop being so slap dash with my skincare and beauty routine and dedicate a bit more time to this aspect of my life. Work, chores, watching DVD's, blogging all seem to get priority over nails, hair conditioning treatments, facials, mosturising ... the list goes on. This year, I promise not to paint my nails in the car on the way to appointments and I promise to wear make-up on the days I'm working but not seeing clients and I promise to put some love back into all things pamepering!

Perfect in Peachy Pink

 

I am in the mood for some Sunday prettiness and indulgence. After twelve days of holidays I need to ease myself back into things slowly. So I started the day with a long lie in under fluffy, freshly laundered bedlinen, then my husband brought me a strong cup of coffee, an orange juice and museli to help me ease my way into the day. Morning tea was spent reading the latest British Vogue on my sunny deck with treats from the local bakery. With an afternoon on the beach I almost feel like I'm still on holidays!  Enjoy your Sunday!

Come Fly With Me

On this bright and breezy summer day I am in the mood for a splash of orange. Having just returned from my holiday to Kangaroo Island I am feeling refreshed and bursting with energy, enthusiastic about exciting, new work projects and holidays planned for the rest of the year. I am looking forward to summer days at the beach and what promises to be a good year ahead. The weather is too gorgeous to be indoors so I am heading off to the beach to soak up some sun. Will post some holiday updates when I get the bags unpacked and the house in order!
