I had a bit of an indulgent weekend spoiling myself with a few extra treats - not only did I do my Easter egg shopping but I made a delicious chocolate tart from one of my favourite Donna Hay recipes for a dinner party on Saturday night. It didn't look quite as perfect as the photo in the cookbook (above) but the few points I lost on presentation I made up for in flavour! Despite the fact it was terribly rich all the guys were keen to have seconds. I finished up my naughty weekend with churros and hot choclate from the local market on Sunday. They were well worth the extra runs that I'll have to put in this week!

We are so lucky that Easter falls in Autumn in Australia, I reckon, because with the cooler weather chocolate becomes even MORE tempting than usual! And it never takes much of an excuse for me to love a piece of chocolate, especially the good dark kind. Yum!
