Having studied fashion design I have had my fair share of art classes but have never really done anything with it. The other day I commissioned an artist to make me three pieces to freshen up things in my beach house. My husband and I went to visit her in her Portsea studio and I fell in love with her sunny, creative studio and her amazing artistic talents. I left feeling so inspired that I am going to get out my paints, brushes and watercolour papers and start creating a little artwork of my own to hang on the walls!

I paint using oils and have not done it in a bit...I am going to put this back on my list to get started soon and to continue with my oil painting classes. Thanks for the reminder! I would have loved to have visited her studio.
