On a high note, I have received the 'Stylish Blogger Award' from a few lovely people but have only just got around to doing something about it. I was tickled pink and it's very gratifying to receive a little reward from fellow bloggers when we all put in so much time and effort to our blogs. So many thanks to Annette Piper, Marina from Iced Vovos, Just Call Me Martha and My Black Book. As part of accepting this award I need to share seven things about me that you probably won't know and then pass the award on to seven other stylish bloggers.
Seven things that you may not know about me:
1) I love the fact that my husband brings me breakfast in bed everyday
2) I love reading cookbooks and trying out new recipes
3) I love a perfect day's skiing with blue skies, fresh snow and sunshine
4) I love twilight yacht racing
5) I love working from home and missing peak hour traffic
6) I love eating seafood on my deck
7) I love the simple things in life like crisp, cotton sheets, daisies
and home cooked meals
Tonight I will celebrate my award with a glass of bubbly. Thanks everyone!

BIG congrats from the US! Well deserved, I must say... and is it not just the coolest when reconigsed by fellow bloggers?? Only "we" know what it really takes to keep a blog current, inspiring and stylish!
