My Blog Launch

I was inspired to set up a blog by Interior Designer, Frances Russell. Frances lives in Queensland so naturally I have never met her but I accidentally came across her blog and Beautiful Interiors and 18th Century Style loved it 'Beautiful Interiors and 18th Century Style'. All the images she had put together for it reminded me of all the things that I truly love in life. She suggested I start my own blog so I was up for the challenge. It's got a bit of everything and it has ended up being a true reflection of what inspires me and what I aspire to. I will attempt to update the home page on a regular basis but the other pages have to be fixed due to my limited website skills! I am planning to update the site with fashion and design news, my favourite restaurants, films I've seen, places I've stayed, people I admire and things on my wish list. I have had a lot of fun putting this together and have managed to cross a few design hurdles in the process. It's all been very rushed but I was aiming to have it all completed by Christmas so I could feature a Christmas story. Well it's finished now, so I can breathe a sigh of relief and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Melissah,
How did you get the posts from the main home page to also post under your tabs?? I was working on mine in November to do that and I am having trouble, if you notice it is not posting under the page like yours.

Hi again,
I follow Frances Russell already. I see we have a lot in common. As you mentioned being new to blogging I noticed you didn't have a link directly to her blog....It's really easy to do. When you are typing up your new post there is a button that says LINK right next to the one that you'll add pictures with... click and when it opens add this link http://beautifulinteriorsand18thcenturystyle.blogspot.com/
Directly above where you add this link is another line for you to type in whatever you'd like... In this case you would just use the name Frances Russell or/and use the entire phrase 'Beautiful Interiors and 18th century style". You may've already figured this out but at any rate if you didn't I thought it would be helpful for you. :)

Blessings,
Shanna

Hello Melissah.

Popped over from seeing your message on my blog.

You have collected so many really beautiful images, I have pinned some in Pinterest.

Big learnig curve for me this blogging, you seem to have it all worked out...

Like so many similar things - would love to get to the Polynesian islands one day!
