It's been raining cats and dogs today which has given me the perfect excuse to warm myself up with a decadent hot chocolate. The French do the best hot chocolate - I have had it so thick and indulgent that the teaspoon stands up on its own. I like to make it on the stove top with good quality melted chocolate, full cream milk, a sprinkle of cinnamon and a dollop of cream to top it off! Sitting by the fire, mug in hand whilst I flick through the Winter edition of Donna Hay is just what it takes to warm my soul!
