These are a few of my favourite things :- 

Shoes, handbags, Chanel, jewellery, flowers and French cosmetics.

I adore anything that celebrates femininity and showcases the beauty life has to offer.

 After all, is there really anything better than being a woman? 

Magic happens when one slips on a beautiful dress, leaves the salon, 

or puts on a slick of lipgloss.

 We are taken out of our every day realm and feel like movie star!

Perfume bottles.

 I buy fragrance for both the bouquet and the bottle.
I love to collect perfume bottles ; 

they are my glass menageries of romance and intrigue.

A lovely reminder of all the beauty in the world.

Dior Addict

     Dior Addict

The cute and sassy dutch model Daphne Groeneveld stars as a Brigitte Bardot reincarnation in the latest Dior Addict fragrance campaign 'And Dior Created Woman'. Shot by music video director Jonas Akerlund, Daphne poses as a  pouty seductress sporting a blonde beehive, retro black bikini, cats-eye sunglasses and an oversized straw hat as she romps along the beach at St Tropez. The new Dior women is young, flirty and fabulous, captivating all who cross her path. She dazzles, seduces and dances all around her when wearing her Dior fragrance - a magic potion of love and fantasy!

The scents have undergone a makeover and have been re-branded with new names in a trio of pastel coloured bottles. Check out this very cute Director's cut of the film ....

Chanel Resort Report

Fit for a Queen!
Loving this confection of pretty pastels seen at the recent showing of the Chanel Resort Collection 2013. Stunningly set in the gardens of Versailles with the chateau making the most perfect heavenly backdrop. Karl Lagerfeld certainly did not disappoint us with his theatrics and a new twist on some old favourites. I loved the classic tweeds in Laduree shades with the unexpected details. I am sure if Marie Antoinette had been sitting from row she would have fallen in love with this collection!

 'Indefinable Beauty'

No matter what make what brand of cosmetics you buy or how much you spend on it, how you feel inside is written all over your face. There are no quick fixes and expert tricks when it comes to feeling beautiful, but embracing the everyday with open arms and an open heart can make all the difference!

Classic Chic

 

When I lived in Paris, I was always enamoured with the easy elegance of the French style of decorating. Nothing is contrived or try hard - styles, periods, prints and colours are mixed up in an eclectic, unconventional way - they break all the rules but somehow end up with the best results!

Sunday Bliss

 

  

A perfect Sunday is one where I get top indulge and pamper myself ....

we are talking Sunday brunch in my PJ's

time for a manicure and pedicure

a long, hot bath with scented oils

sweet treats in the afternoon

free time to draw, paint and be creative

and time to catch up on some much needed sleep.

Party Time!

Tonight is a girlfriend's birthday party
and it promises to be a glamorous affair.
There will be handsome bar staff serving champagne cocktails
There will be dainty food, pearlised balloons and a stunning cake 
There will be dapper partners and a stunning array of party dresses
There will be sequins, glitter, shimmer, sparkle and shine.
So I am looking forward to a fabulous night out!
