Carolyn Quartermaine

I bought Carolyn Quartermaine's first book unwrapped when I lived in London in my twenties. She is a London based textile designer and stylist and I instantly fell in love with her prints and the beautiful colours of the fabrics she uses - mainly silks and floaty chiffons.

The designer Carolyn Quartermaine

She mixes her fabrics back with vintage pieces and antique furniture in a palette of vibrant pastels and gold. She is truly an original and innovative designer who has kept reinventing her style over the years. She  has appeared in magazines all over the world including the cover of Vogue Living.

Christina Re's Home

Following are some images of stationary designer and author Cristina Re Spanish-inspired villa.

Christina says, “I love to collect pretty and unique things from my travels, from places like Paris, Rome, LA and Shanghai. My house inspires my work, so it should be airy and bright, and have lots of light, which makes you happy. Each room is a complete contrast to the other rooms, yet somehow they complement each other. The dining room has a French feel, with greens and golds; the lounge room is oriental, with accents of red, pink and blue.”
