French Glamour

I had a little shopping spree yesterday and headed off to see what's new at Chanel and Louis Vuitton. Having recently had a big shop at LV I was determined this time I would exercise some self control. I bought a chic, little pair of CC earrings in black and silver and the new season's nail polish in pink - called 'May'. I was very pleased with my little purchases and my ability to resist expensive handbag temptations!!!

I have just received an invitation to a black tie event

which has got me thinking 

'what on earth am I going to wear?'

It will be quite a glitzy affair

so I am thinking something ~

black and sexy with fabulous shoes ....

and just the right amount of bling to sparkle

without going overboard!

A Taste of Caviar

 

 

 

To be honest, I don't actually like caviar ... mind you, it's been a long time since I've been tempted to try those tiny, fishy, black pearls but I don't think my feelings have changed towards them. However, I do have a taste for the more expensive things in life like French Champagne, designer handbags, anything Chanel, luxury goods, European cars, fancy restaurants and five star resorts. Fortunately for my husband, I also have a great love and appreciation for the simple things in life as well. I love camping, fish 'n' chips and going for long walks on the beach - so the two manage to nicely balance themselves out!

Chiffon is the most divine fabric. A dress with layers of sheer chiffon is both romantic and feminine. It has an etheral quality that makes you feel like you're floating. A perfect option for a flirty party dress, an elegant evening gown or a pretty bridesmaid dress. How heavenly are these two!
