New Year Glamour

 

 

I am just in the process of working out what to wear for New Year's Eve. This year my husband and I are foregoing the usual, rowdy late night party bash with friends for something more glamorous and romantic. I have booked a fabulous, intimate restaurant that are doing a three course New Years Eve diner complete with French champagne! I am planning on wearing something elegant and sparkly with plenty of sequins and a touch of glitter on my nails! I am so excited I think I'll go and practice some fancy 'up dos' to complete my look!

Sweet Sensation

For Christmas I was given the most gorgeous gift box of macarons and baby cupcakes in pink, pale green and white all wrapped up in white and gold satin ribbon - it was an absolute sight to behold, so much prettiness in one box! Everyday I indulge in a heavenly treat from my box which I hide from the kids and reluctantly share with my husband!!

In Love with Summer Brights

I am such a summer girl - I wait all year round patiently for summer to arrive. My summer wardrobe is riot of colour - bursting forth with every colour of the rainbow - pink, aqua, orange, purple, green - there's a dress and matching pair of shoes in just about every colour! The great thing about summer fashion is that it's fun and frivolous and it makes going out twice as much fun!

Candy Pink Heaven

I am loving this gelati coloured Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 campaign. I love all these sugar-coated pastels - I can see these pieces fitting perfectly into my summer wardrobe especially the see through handbags and those shoes are to die for!

A Christmas Gift

Seeing as it's Christmas Eve and only one more sleep before Santa comes I thought I would give you a little sneak peak at one my Christmas gifts. I picked it out with my husband and it's safely wrapped up under the tree but I couldn't resist sharing my excitement with you! It's a bracelet from the 'Return to Tiffany Collection' and it's just a sweet little piece to wear to work. So on that happy note, I'll finish up for Christmas -

Christmas Bling

Loving these bright and festive Christmas decorations. I am feeling inspired to make these candy cane martinis for Christmas Day drinks - I am sure everyone would get a kick out of them! The kids would love the candy cane dusted coconut ice and it would also make a lovely homemade Xmas gift - my girlfriends would think that was very cute all wrapped up in clear cellophane with pink and white striped ribbon. Fill the house with this colourful merriment and you are bound to have a fun filled Christmas Day!

Christmas In Aqua & Silver

 

Here's a little of the inspiration behind this year's Christmas theme - aqua, silver and white, chosen partly because of the lovely reminder of Tiffany and Co (particularly important for my husband!) and secondly because it's a perfect colour palette for a beach house and a summer Christmas.
