it reminds me of three things I love ~
after dinner mints, mint slices, and peppermint crisp.

Mint when used in both fashion and interior decorating
is fresh, unexpected and uplifting.

Spring Trend - Pretty Pastels

I am loving the pretty pastel trend that we are seeing this Spring

Mint, pink, pistachio + peach

They are so pretty, soft and feminine
The color mint is effervescent and I'm loving it. 
It's classic, even a bit trendy, 
and looks especially pretty accompanied by peach or light pink. 
Above is a collection of my favourite things in this season's colour palette.

Mint Chocolate







Mint is one of the most delicious colours around, especially when combined with chocolate! Pastels against rich dark, velvety chocolate makes for a dramatic and striking combination. Exquisite as a decor accent colour, mint also works perfectly in the fashion arena. Mint looks heavenly in Louis Vuitton's spring collection made up into fitted, feminine suits with matching shoes and handbags .... so perfectly ladylike. I doubt if I would ever invest in a pastel coloured suit but I love mint for pashminas, lightweight Spring knits, summer dresses and of course. ... chocolate!

Spearmint Fresh

There's something very fresh, free spirited and uplifting about 'spearmint'. In terms of fashion, it's a stand out in the crowd kind colour. It's a  great colour for the races or a party when you want something a little more memorable than basic black. When it comes to decorating, I would never be brave enough to paint a whole room spearmint green but a feature wall or a few scatter cushions and some artwork could brighten up even the dullest of rooms!
