blue skies and endless sunshine
long days and warm evenings
summer dresses and strappy heels
alfresco lunches and parties in the garden.

Vintage Vogue

I love flicking through vintage Vogues and fashion books
featuring models and photographers from the fifties and sixties.
There are some iconic fashion shoots by the likes of
Norman Parkinson and Richard Avedon.
They were a great inspiration when I was at fashion school
and I still love the glamour and ladylike chic
that  graced their pages.

Christmas Treats

 

 

I love this time of year ~

for me it's the creative side of Christmas that appeals the most.

I love the Christmas baking and home cooked food,

trimming the tree, decorating the house, 

making cards and wrapping presents.

Party Dress Perfection

 Party Girl Perfection

With the month of December filling up quickly with social engagements

it's time to get my party dresses in order.

There's work functions, client parties, cocktail soirees with girlfriends, 

Christmas drinks, the usual family get-togethers and a charity do.

I bought a few gorgeous dresses last year that will do nicely for this year.

Then there's always a couple of faves from a few season's ago 

tucked in the back of the wardrobe that deserve another outing or two!

I will need a couple of new knockout dresses to save for the best parties

to make the evening that extra bit special!
