Christmas Joy in Hot Pink!

Love this chic and stylish pop of colour for Christmas .... definitely one for the girls! How gorgeous are those mini Pommery 'Pop' bottles of champagne in hot pink? Perfect for an elegant but fun Christmas get-together with your girlfriends. I love the 'girly' table setting with the masses of flowers, pretty candles and baubles and all the white boxes with the big pink bows sitting under the tree. I'm sure there's something pretty special in each and every one of them!

 I love hosting parties at Christmas time.

This year I am very excited about hosting a Christmas drinks party.

I love the idea of a dessert bar with everything

beautifully laid out on trays and colour co-ordinated.

This white and silver inspiration would also work perfectly for a Christmas party! 

I love these snowkflake gingerbread cookies coated in sanding sugar!

Christmas is just around the corner and the social calendar is filling up.

There's Christmas drinks to host, parties to attend and dresses to shop for.

I love dressing up the house a bit too ~

lot's of candles, fresh flowers, my favourite bedlinen

and of course a very stylish Christmas tree!

An Elegant Soiree

Today I'm dreaming all things feminine and romantic.

I have a heavenly day planned ~

starting with coffee and croissants at my favorite cafe,

followed by an appointment at the hairdresser for a blow wave,

and a French manicure.

Then it's off to what promises to be 

a gorgeously elegant Christmas party at a client's house.

I have been working of the design for over a year

so I am looking forward to seeing the end results!

A Christmas Cocktail Party

Glam Party style in Silver & Aqua

 

I'm taking my cue from this stylish aqua and white cocktail party for my Christmas drinks. It's just a casual get together with the neighbours to wish everyone a 'Merry Christmas' and to catch up on everyone's holiday plans. I tell everyone's it's very low key but I can't help myself and generally end up spending the day in the kitchen whipping up some tasty canapes and making up a batch of cocktails or Christmas punch - just to get the party started! I've decided on the aqua and white theme because that matches in with the Christmas tree. This year I think we'll hang fairy lights all through the trees so if it's a warm enough evening we can start out with drinks on the deck. I may even send out a flashy invitation, like the one above, to get everyone in the mood!
