With  summer holidays in full swing

I am spending most of my days relaxing or chilling out at the beach.

I am currently lusting after these

of hot pink and orange.

I am loving the pink Chanel bikini and 

the Louis Vuitton beach bags!

VINTAGE BEAUTY

I remember sitting at my grandmother's antique dressing table, rummaging through her collection of treasured Chanel lipsticks, Mason and Pearson hair brushes, compacts and nail polishes and being enchanted by the shades, scents and possibilities they represented. To this day, I still have a love affair with vintage perfume bottles, ornate compacts and lipsticks in gold cases ... just like my grandmother had!

Life's Sweet Pleasures

 

 

The sweetest things :- 

For me life is full of small pleasures 
like beautiful books, French perfume, anything Chanel, jewellery,
breakfast in bed and fresh flowers.

I try to savour and enjoy the small, beautiful details in life.
They brighten up my day and make every day feel that extra bit special!

French Gateaux Heaven

I watch what I eat, jog regularly, exercise and try to eat a healthy, balanced diet

but I have to admit French cakes and pastries are my undoing!

 Who can resist such guilty pleasures?

They are just too tempting ~

these perfectly presently, exquisitely delicate slices of heaven! 

Every once in while, for a special treat - I stop off at my favourite French cafe

for a macaron or petite French gateaux and a Café au Lait.
