Fifty Shades of Grey

Sorry but this post isn't nearly as saucy as the book!!!

But hopefully, like the book, it will inspire you to try something new!

I have only ever used grey in modern interiors

- it's always a combination of white, charcoal, silver and black,

which works well with clean lined architecture 

but I have never done it in an elegant, stylish interior

 with classical or period style architecture.

I don't know why I am so afraid to use grey 

when the Dior boutique in Paris is one of my favourite stores 

and the entire store is painted in the softest, prettiest shade of grey!

Maybe I need to start experimenting a bit!

Rainbow Bright

Bright colour is uplifting and energising.
A splash of vivid colour never fails to put a smile on my face.
This season don't be afraid to mix bold colours and prints together
to create maximum effect.
It's a season to be daring and different.

Snow Patrol

 

I'm off to the snow for a couple days skiing

I just wished I looked as chic and sexy on the slope as this model does.

She obviously doesn't feel the cold with her jacket unzipped!

Sadly, the only thing we have in common

is the photo where she's on her backside!

Chanel Muse

I have been love with Chanel from the age of sixteen when I first started reading Vogue. I would love to wear Chanel from head to toe but that is sadly out of my league. In my twenties I picked up a pink Chanel denim mini skirt for a bargain and that served me well over a few summers when I lived in London. Nowadays, I content myself with small luxuries at Christmas time and birthdays. All my makeup is Chanel, I have a pair of quilted ballet flats for work and a nice collection of jewellery and perfume. Every time I wear anything Chanel I always feel that extra bit special.

For the romantic at heart

I'm swooning over these classically chic and stylish interiors

Nothing makes my heart sing more than the combination of ~

the colour pink, French antique furniture, vintage chandeliers,

silk curtains, roses, French perfume and anything Chanel!

The Lovely Gwenyth

 

Gwyneth is looking very glamorous and aristocratic in this fashion shoot for Harpers Bazaar. She looks both regal and elegant showcasing these gorgeous couture gowns. Gwynthew is one of those stars who looks equally relaxed dressed up for the red carpet or barefoot at home cooking up a storm for her cookbook.
