Pretty Porcelain

 

I love pretty porcelain in delicate pastels or with dainty patterns. Afternoon tea always looks so perfect set out on porcelain cake plates bursting with rose buds. Tea always tastes so much better when poured from a china tea pot and drunk from fine bone china tea cups! I always like to give china and porcelain a modern twist by mixing and matching plains, prints and patterns. There's something incredibly elegant and nostalgic about porcelain dinnerware and tea sets. I'm an old fashioned girl leading a busy, modern life but occasionally it's nice to slow things down a bit, take some time out and throw together an old fashioned tea party just like my grandmother would have done!
