I am very fortunate to have a room to myself - it's the kids old playroom and as they are teenagers now they no longer use it. I redecorated it and it's now a lovely space in white and pink with a splash of red. It is filled with my fashion and design books, magazines, tears sheets, boxes full of party decorations, card making stuff, scrapbooks of my dream houses, photo albums, travel brochures, an inspiration board and a big desk to work at. It's a lovely girlie haven that is full of ideas and inspirations for my blog and everyday life.

My mom has a killer outdoor room that she refers to has her "zen room" -- that to me says it all. To be able to sit outside, even in the rain, with a good book and a coffee...I don't think it gets better than that! My room is a disaster. Maybe I can get it pretty again so I enjoy being in it!
