Summer Days

Fashion Images via Simply Natural

Summer is all about the beach to me - long walks along the sand collecting shells, worn pebbles and driftwood along the way. White weather board cottages and simple beach shacks. Simple summer cotton dresses that blow in the breeze, floppy straw hats and worn beach baskets. A canvas hammock strung up on the porch promises endless hours of being lost in a good book, kids with ice-creams and the ringing of laughter in the air all remind me of lazy summer days.

Dear Melissah ... I adore the beach and coastal style and I am finding it hard to get back into reality after our island holiday! I also love Port Douglas as well and especially the Sheraton Mirage!!!! I have started a new blog called coastal which you might like! How are you all going? I just feel like going and sitting by the pool and I am supposed to be working! My next island holiday will have to be Bora Bora .... I have never been Tahiti and it looks absolutely stunning ....
best get back to work
best wishes
Frances

Agh, you make me long for the beach and summer. Your words evoked the feeling of laying in the sand, and the photographs too...

Dear Melissah,
Can you please forgive me for not having written back to you any sooner after your lovely comments? It really was most kind of you! I was very busy getting ready for the launch of some new items in my Etsy shop!

I love your blog and looking at all the images is like taking a little vacation!

Thank you so much for your visit with me!

Wishing you a beautiful day!

Melissah,

Thanks for visiting my page, you have a lovely blog here full of lovely inspiration, style and design- all so pretty. I wish it was summer here, weather is still cold and frosty in the morning, I'm going to work in the dark and it's dark when I'm coming home. I long for long days with sunshine :) But until then I will visit your blog and it will cheer me up. I'm off to take a good look around

All things nice...
